Scan to PDF in your browser
Receipts, signed forms, whiteboard notes, a few pages of handouts: snap them with your phone or pick photos you already have, and get one neat PDF. You don’t need to install a scanning app that quietly uploads your pictures to the cloud.
- Take photos straight from your phone camera, or use ones you already have.
- Put pages in order and choose A4 or fit-to-photo page size.
- Photos are turned upright and placed on a clean white page automatically.
- Receipts and ID documents stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
How to use Scan to PDF
- Tap Take a photo on your phone, or choose JPG, PNG, or WebP images.
- Put the pages in order and pick a page size (like A4 Portrait) and margin.
- Click Create scanned PDF and download your file.
Technical notes & limits
- No automatic edge detection, perspective correction, or contrast filters.
- Up to 200 images (100 MiB total) per PDF. Camera capture depends on your browser supporting it.
How to get a sharp, readable scan
Lay the page flat in good, even light. Hold your phone straight above it and make sure all four corners are in focus. The tool fixes photo orientation and adds clean margins, but it doesn’t auto-crop edges or straighten an angled shot.
Make your scan searchable
Camera scans are saved as images, so you can’t search or copy the text yet. Run the finished PDF through OCR PDF to recognize English text, right here in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Does Scan to PDF work on both phones and desktop computers?
Yes. On phones that support it you can take photos directly. On a computer, just pick JPG, PNG, or WebP files.
Will my scanned PDF have selectable text automatically?
Not by itself. Camera scans are image pages. Run the PDF through OCR PDF to make the English text searchable and selectable.
Are my camera photos uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photos stay in your browser and the PDF is built on your device.
