Tool & Output Disclaimer

Understand conversion fidelity, OCR accuracy, visible signatures, redaction and PDF/A limitations before relying on exported documents.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

  • Always retain your original unedited PDF files before running any modification.
  • Cropping only adjusts the visible viewport—use Redact PDF for permanent pixel removal.
  • Visible signatures draw a visual mark and are not X.509 cryptographic certificates.

Review the exported file

PDFs can contain fonts, annotations, interactive forms, attachments, layers and other structures that a particular operation may not preserve. Keep your original and inspect the actual exported file before replacing a record, submitting a form or sharing it.

The app’s published limits are part of each tool’s scope. Passing automated sample tests does not guarantee correct output for every possible document.

Conversion, OCR and AI

PDF-to-Word exports selectable text with reflowed formatting. PDF-to-PowerPoint exports page images. PDF-to-Excel places extracted text into cells using layout heuristics. These operations do not reconstruct the original editable Office source.

OCR currently recognizes English and can misread text. The local English AI summarizer can omit details or generate inaccurate statements. Check results against the source, particularly before relying on them for consequential decisions.

Signatures, privacy and archival output

Signing places a visible drawn, typed or uploaded mark. It does not create a certificate signature or verify who signed. Changing a PDF can invalidate an existing digital signature.

Cropping hides regions and is not redaction. Redaction rebuilds every page as an image and removes original document objects; carefully review every masked region. PDF/A output is image-based PDF/A-2b; a representative browser export passed an independent validator, but each important archival output should be validated for its intended workflow.
